<p>Two monosubstituted diiron complexes, namely (<i>µ</i>-SCH2CH2CH2S-<i>µ</i>)Fe2(CO)5L (L = P(2-C4H3O)3, <b>2</b>; Ph2PCH2CH2CH3, <b>3</b>), have been prepared by the carbonyl substitution of the parent complex (<i>µ</i>-SCH2CH2CH2S-<i>µ</i>)Fe2(CO)6 (<b>1</b>) with the corresponding monophosphine ligands in the presence of Me3NO·2H2O. The new complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.</p>
