Incorporating ferrocenecarboxylato(-1) into a [CuI2(μ-dppm)2]2+ (dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) scaffold for hydrogen peroxide sensing Kuan-Guan Liu Ru Wang Hong-Yan Han Qi-De Shan Jing Nie Xiao-Wei Yan 10.6084/m9.figshare.7093880.v2 https://tandf.figshare.com/articles/journal_contribution/Incorporating_ferrocenecarboxylato_-1_into_a_Cu_sup_I_sup_sub_2_sub_-dppm_sub_2_sub_sup_2_sup_dppm_bis_diphenylphosphino_methane_scaffold_for_hydrogen_peroxide_sensing/7093880 <p>Incorporating ferrocenecarboxylato(-1) into [CuI2(μ-dppm)2]2+ (dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) led to the isolation of a heterometallic complex [Cu2(μ2-η1,η1dppm)2(μ2-η1, η1FcCOO)(CH3CN)]BF4·CH3CN (<b>1</b>). It was characterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR), elemental analysis (EA), powder X-ray diffraction analysis (PXRD), ultraviolet–visible spectrum (UV–Vis), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Single-crystal X-ray structural analysis revealed that ferrocenecarboxylato(-1) coordinated to the [Cu2(μ2-η1,η1dppm)2]2+ unit <i>via</i> μ2-η1,η1 bridging mode in <b>1</b>. The title complex shows good optical absorption and thermal stability, and reliable electrochemical stability. Moreover, this heterometallic copper(I) complex could be used as a promising electrochemical sensing material for the detection of H2O2.</p> 2018-11-18 11:34:47 Heterometallic complex copper(I) ferrocenecarboxylato(-1) electrochemical H2O2 sensing
