Triethylammonium thiolate as an efficient reagent for synthesis of quinoxaline containing indandione substitution via sequential one-pot multicomponent reaction

posted on 2019-06-25, 14:15 authored by Abdolali Alizadeh, Hossein Ghasemzadeh, Reza Rezaiyehraad, Hong-Ping XiaoConsidering the biological properties of the compounds containing quinoxaline and indandione skeleton, a new thiolate salt was synthesized via the reaction between ninhydrin and phenacyl thiocyanate in the presence of triethylamine and in continuous, from the reaction of this thiolate with methyl iodide and o-phenylenediamine in absolute ethanol, quinoxaline containing indandione substituent was obtained.
