Supplementary Figure 3. AgNPs induced PARP cleavage
through mitochondrial ROS in HCT116 cells. HCT116 cells were pretreated with
or without 0.5 μM DPI for 4 h and incubated with 5 μg/ml AgNPs for 24 h.
Representative images obtained by confocal fluorescence microscopy stained with
cleaved PARP antibody. Cleaved PARP-positive cells were observed following
the AgNP treatment while cleaved PARP-positive cells were apparently
decreased in cells pretreated with DPI.
