A new di-C-prenylated coumarin, 7-methoxy-6,8-bis-(2,3-dihydroxy-3-methylbutyl)-coumarin (1), together with seven known compounds, isopimpinellin (2), an arylbenzofuran (3), three flavonoids (46), (+)-maackianin (7) and echinoisoflavanone (8), were isolated from the leaves of Sophora interrupta Bedd. The structure of the new compound 1 as well as known compounds was elucidated by extensive 1D and 2D NMR spectral studies.
